The Studio

Established August 2021

Opening the studio was a bit of a gamble, at the time I (Hamish) had only tattooed in America and Denmark. This meant I had no clients or reputation to build upon in the UK. On top of that I had no previous experience renovating, owning or running a studio. However I saw a gap in the local market for me so I decided to risk it and haven’t looked back since.

My first year was pretty successful, thanks to those who supported me with their projects. The second year is looking to be even better. The studio is naturally evolving from me to we. Marta joined in September ‘22 as a full time tattoo artist and has been a perfect addition to the studio. Her style, passion for her craft and customer service inspires us everyday. Moss joined at the start of the summer ‘22 to assist the studio and to start her tattoo journey under Marta and my guidance. She has coming along amazingly, as I knew she would. Hamish is so incredibly talented but also the nicest guy on the planet. Made me feel completely at ease. The studio has a great vibe. I am in love with my new tattoos, they barely hurt and are healing beautifully. His art work is so detailed and the booking process is thorough but simple. I will definitely return for more and would recommend highly to anyone else.
